And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said,
The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son,
And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.
Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.
But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise:
And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.
But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.
Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.
Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.
So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.
And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:
And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.
Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
For many are called, but few are chosen.
Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might entangle him in his talk.
And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any man: for thou regardest not the person of men.
Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not?
But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites?
Shew me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a penny.
And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription?
They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's.
When they had heard these words, they marvelled, and left him, and went their way.
The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection, and asked him,
Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother:
Likewise the second also, and the third, unto the seventh.
And last of all the woman died also.
Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.
Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.
For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.
But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying,
I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.
And when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his doctrine.
But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together.
Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,
Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment.
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them,
Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, The son of David.
He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying,
The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?
If David then call him Lord, how is he his son?
And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions.
马太福音第廿二章   太 22:1-14> “千呼万唤不出来”,可是现代人回应神的态度吗? 

  22:1-14 当时的习俗是,在每一个大宴会以前,主人会对客人发出两次邀请,第一次请求宾客出席,第二次则通知他们一切已经预备妥当了。这个故事的国王──神,却是三次邀请祂的宾客,但每一次他们都拒绝了。神希望我们在祂的筵席上和祂在一起,因为这是一直到永恒的筵席。这就是祂一次又一次地邀请我们的原因。你是否已经接受了祂的邀请呢? 

  太 22:11-12> 奇怪了,神为人所预备的“礼服”究竟指什么?我可以选择不“穿”吗? 

  22:11-12 按着传统风俗,主人会为宾客预备参加婚宴的礼服。不穿礼服是令人难以想像的,主人会认为那客人妄自尊大,或想侮辱主人,根本不想参与这个婚礼庆典。参加婚礼的礼服就是进入天国所需要的公义,是基督所赐给每一个信徒的,但每个人都需要自己决定是否穿上它参加神的筵席──永生。(有关公义和救恩之袍的比喻,请参诗 132:16 ;赛 61:10 ;亚 3:3-5 ;启 3:4-5 ; 19:7-8 。) 

  太 22:15-17> 由互相敌视,到“同心协力”留难耶稣以成就一己的骄傲;你可会为了私心而故意留难别人? 

  22:15-17 法利赛人是一个反对罗马政府占领巴勒斯坦的宗教团体,而希律党是支持希律安提帕和罗马政府的政治组织。平时,这两个群体彼此仇视,这时他们却联合起来,为要攻击耶稣。这两群人一同去问耶稣关于给罗马政府纳税的问题,想要留难祂,以为这个计谋万无一失:假若耶稣赞成纳税给凯撒,法利赛人可以指祂违背神──他们惟一承认的君王;假若耶稣说不应当纳税,希律党人就可以用背叛罗马的罪名捉拿祂到希律那里。法利赛人并不是真的爱神的律法,希律党人也不是真要维护罗马的公义。耶稣的答案把他们邪恶的动机暴露出来,使他们非常尴尬。 

  太 22:17> 不愿纳税,总有原因吧,犹太人的原因呢? 

  22:17 犹太人须给罗马政府纳税,这些钱直接进到凯撒的银库,部分用来维持外邦偶像庙宇和罗马贵族的奢华生活,犹太人都憎恶这些税捐。印在银币上的凯撒肖像无时不在提醒以色列人服从罗马政府。 

  太 22:19> 22:19 一个银钱大概是当时一个工人一天的工资。 

  太 22:21> 只对神负责不就足够了吗? 

  22:21 耶稣指出我们有双重的公民身分(参彼前 2:17 ),这就避过了法利赛人和希律党人设下的陷阱。我们在国家里的公民身分要求我们为了所得的服务和福利而纳税;我们在天国里的公民身分要求我们的心灵对神服从和委身。 

  太 22:23-33> 自以为是的人,你看到他们被挫败的落魄吗?你不会是自以为是的人吧? 

  22:23-33 当法利赛人和希律党人陷害耶稣失败之后,撒都该人沾沾自喜地接着尝试。他们不相信复活的事,因为在五经(创、出、利、民、申)中没有直接教导复活的事,法利赛人不能根据五经找出复活的有力论据。撒都该人以为他们肯定可以难倒耶稣,但耶稣又驳倒他们( 22:31-32 )。 

  太 22:24> 丈夫死了,妻子怎可以轻易嫁给丈夫的兄弟? 

  22:24 律法说如果妇人的丈夫死去而没有儿子,她丈夫的兄弟就有责任娶这个寡妇并且照顾她(参申 25:5-6 ),这是为了保护孤苦伶仃的寡妇,因为在当时的社会里,寡妇往往没有其他办法维持生活。(有关摩西的资料,请参出 14 章的人物介绍。) 

  太 22:29-30> 我用心、用力去想,也想不到天国的模样会是怎样,其实我真的很想知道…… 

  22:29-30 撒都该人问天国里的婚姻将会是怎样的,耶稣告诉他们,明白神的能力要比知道天国将会如何更加重要。人们都会以今生的生活和经验为基础,去理解永生,耶稣说错误的观念是由对神话语无知而来。我们不要用人的角度去看神,来虚构永恒和天国,倒要关注自己与神的关系。最终,我们会知道天国是怎么一回事,它必然跟我们所想像的相距甚远。 

  太 22:31-32> 耶稣所提的人不是已经死去了吗?“神是活人的神”──难道耶稣讲错话? 

  22:31-32 撒都该人只接纳摩西五经是圣经,耶稣就用五经来回答他们的问题(参出 3:6 )。假如神看亚伯拉罕、以撒和雅各已经死了,就不会说:“我是你祖先的神”。从神的角度来看,他们仍然活着。耶稣指明所有信徒在祂里面也享受复活和永生。 

  太 22:34> 骄傲使法利赛人看不到自己的弱点,你会如他们一样,只想证明自己或是虚己纳人? 

  22:34 我们可能也会想像到,法利赛人为撒都该人哑口无言而高兴,撒都该人常常用这条问题来难倒他们,现在终于被耶稣驳倒了。但法利赛人太过骄傲,仍不认输。耶稣的答案使他们在神学讨论上胜过撒都该人,但他们绝没有兴趣认识真理,只想打败耶稣。 

  太 22:35-40> 遵守了这两条以后,是否就代表不用守其他的呢? 

  22:35-40 法利赛人列出超过六百条法律,常常尝试把它们分出主次,因此其中一个律法师问耶稣哪一条是最大的诫命。耶稣回答的这两条诫命(参申 6:5 ;利 19:18 ),就是最大的诫命,它总括了十诫和旧约其他的道德律法。我们真正爱神和我们的邻舍,就能很自然地遵守所有的诫命。这是积极正面地看神的律法,我们不要常常担忧哪些事不可以做,反倒要集中精力在我们可以做的事上,以表明我们对神和他人的爱。 

  太 22:41-45> 论到基督,你的意见如何? 

  22:41-45 法利赛人、希律党人和撒都该人都已经提出过他们的问题,现在耶稣转过来问他们一个尖锐的问题──弥赛亚是谁。法利赛人知道弥赛亚是大卫的子孙,但不明白祂本身就是神。耶稣表明弥赛亚比大卫更伟大(参诗 110:1 ),希伯来书的作者藉这相同的经节来证明基督的神性(参来 1:13 )。我们也要回答基督是谁,这是最重要的问题。除非我们相信耶稣就是神,否则其他的神学问题全是无关紧要的。 ──《灵修版圣经注释》
